Privacy Policy
Information I Collect
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also be required to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example).
Your order details are printed in the form of a dispatch notice, your order is created and the shipped with the dispatch notice. I do not personally keep a physical or electronic record of orders. Should this information be required that I can access this via the website.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, accounting purposes, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
Do we use cookies?
Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information
We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders by contacting customer service.
Data Retention
I only retain your personal information electronically for accounting purposes. No physical recorded as kept. This is populated on a monthly basis and transferred into my accounting spreadsheet. This information is only visible to myself and is password protected. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 7 years.
Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
• Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

Returns & Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges are not accepted on personalised items unless your order has arrived damaged in during transit.
If your order does arrive damaged, you will be asked to supply photographs of the packaging and the damaged item(s) so that a claim for compensation can be made against the delivery company.

Should your order arrive with a substandard quality of card or quality level of printing, we will reprint the product that fails to meet expectations. This is subject to the full return of the item(s) at the customer's cost within 10 days, and our inspection of item(s) to confirm the issue.

Any shortages or problems with your order should be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of your order.

Digital items
​
Digital items aren't eligible for returns or exchanges because of the nature of these items.
Cancellation of Advanced Bookings
The order can be cancelled by either party in writing or by email subject to the matters set out below.
- If the Client seeks to cancel the order more than 4 weeks before the Event, then the Deposit shall be forfeited. No further sums will be due from the Client to The Lovelies Store.
- If the Client seeks to cancel the order less than 4 weeks before the Event, then the Deposit will be forfeited. Any expenses incurred as at the date of cancellation must also be paid by the Client, and those paid shall also be non-refundable.
- If The Lovelies Store cancels the order, any Charges paid will be repaid to the Client within 14 days of cancellation, and no further refunds, sum or compensation will be payable to the Client arising from such cancellation.
- Failure to pay any outstanding balance on the order, 4 weeks prior to the event will result in the order being cancelled and the Deposit will be forfeited, unless a prior agreement has been made in writing.
- Failure to supply the required information to complete the order, 2 weeks prior to the event, i.e. Your Table Plan/Guest List, will result in the order being cancelled and the Deposit will be forfeited.
